The Red Hot Jazz Club

The Red Hot Jazz Club presents.. Will Cartwright's Funk, Soul Collective.

If you love the soulful sounds of Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers and Steely Dan mixed up with some original funk grooves and brilliant musicianship, then this is why we go out on a Friday night!

Will Cartwright's Soul Funk Jazz collective is a modern take on the soulful sounds of 60s and 70s music. With an emphasis on improvisation and sonic exploration. Will's Soul vocal – often compared to one of his mentors, Stevie Wonder – is skilfully integrated into this dynamic and exciting team of experienced and talented musicians.

The band features: Ian "Ninth Letta" Miller on Drums Dan "FakeDave" Poole on Trumpet Graeme "Mista G" Warner on Guitar Matt "The Giant" White on Bass Mark Webb on Saxophone.

Will has been playing with many bands internationally and has been featured on several UK EDM hits. He has performed with the likes of Stevie Wonder, BabyFace, Kelis, DJ Die and John Paul Jones to name a few and has played at Abbey road Studios, Glastonbury Festival, Colston Hall, Maida Vale, Radio 1, Radio 1xtra, BBC 6 Music Festiva.l

Come and join us for some groovy live music in a low-lit Jazz Club atmosphere at The Red Brick Building.. we would love to see you.
