Pilton Crown - Hayn: The Seven Last Words of the Cross

Join us at 6:00pm in The Crown in Pilton for a unique and reflective Easter evening with the Breathe Ensemble.

The Breathe quartet, with special guest violinist Magnus Johnston (concertmaster at the Royal Ballet & Opera Orchestra) , will perform The Seven Last Words of Christ, by Austrian composer of the Classical period Joseph Haydn (1732-1809), a deeply meditative work in a total of 9 movements.

Settle in with a glass of wine, relax, and experience this profound musical offering in the intimate, welcoming atmosphere of The Crown—a village pub with a history as rich as the music itself.

Looking for simple ways to observe Good Friday as a family? Come to our performance and follow it up with a meal downstairs. Click here to book dinner direct with the Crown. https://thecrownpilton.com/
