Kembang

KÊMBANG (fruit flower or to bloom) create a unique sound by weaving together melodies reminiscent of English folk music and Javanese Karawitan.

William Barnardo, who lived and studied music in Central Java, is joined by multi instrumentalists Joss Mann-Hazell, and Pete Holmes, and vocalist Jessica Wiehler.

The words, which capture small, beautiful moments, are set to interlocking melodies and curving harmonies which glitter around the songs to create a unique sound world.
