8 Mar 2026
Sunday 8 March
2 Performances: 4pm and 6pm
An exciting chance to catch internationally-acclaimed Trio CarmenCo (mezzo/flute and two guitars), as seen at Buxton Festival, Kings Place London and all over the UK from Devon and West Wales to Orkney. As the trio behind "A Pocket Opera", CarmenCo are known for both their outstanding musicianship and for their originality - finding new, unique and entertaining ways to present classical music: They often incorporate movement, dance and storyline into their concerts, and vary instrumentation from solo guitar through to voice/flute and two guitars, making their concerts and shows as unique and colourful as the players in the trio.
This evening will be a first peek at the music from their new show "My My My Delilah", which will be touring the South West as a full theatre production from October 2026 onwards. An evening of wonderful arrangements of arias and instrumentals from many different operas...
'A playful and well-crafted performance with a depth of exceptional musical talent that audiences both respect and adore.' - Ed O'Driscoll, Exec Director of Arts in Rural Gloucestershire
"The most ASTONISHING performance we have EVER staged" - Aberdeen Music Society
Emily Andrews - flute and mezzo
David Massey - guitar
