Ambient & Immersive Weekender (3–4 July) – Assembly Rooms

Music
3 Jul 2026 - 4 Jul 2026
Friday 3 July
The Assembly Rooms in Glastonbury will host a two-night Ambient & Immersive Weekender on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th July, bringing together electronic music, live performance, film and immersive visual environments.
A rare two-night immersive electronic music and audiovisual weekend in the heart of Glastonbury.
The weekend presents two distinct but connected experiences:
Friday opens with David Harrow, Youth and Joe Muggs. Harrow is an influential figure in electronic music with a long history of collaboration and experimentation, including work connected to The Orb, Andrew Weatherall and the post-punk electronic scene. His performance centres around Terry Riley's minimalist composition In C, reinterpreted through modular synthesis and live electronics, accompanied by curated visuals. Youth joins the line-up, bringing further depth from decades of work across experimental and alternative music.
Saturday sees Fractals in Space transform the Assembly Rooms into an immersive audiovisual environment of deep dub, downtempo grooves and psychedelic electronic sound. The night features a rare live performance from Lords of Misrule, alongside Gazillion Chillion, and support from Dawn of Reality, Old Nic and MRez. Fractals in Space combines sound, light and projection to create a fully enveloping space designed for deep listening and visual immersion.
What began as two separate events has evolved into a collaborative weekend of shared creative direction, visual production and cross-pollination between artists, audiences and performance styles.
Together, the two nights offer a rare opportunity to experience very different but complementary approaches to contemporary electronic music and immersive audiovisual performance.
Hosted at the long-standing Assembly Rooms venue in Glastonbury.
Tickets are available for both individual nights and a weekend pass, offering the full Ambient & Immersive Weekender experience.
