Somerset Star Count is back - and we need your help!

Between 14th and 21st February, we are asking people of Somerset to count the stars in Orion and help us paint a picture of light pollution in or county.

It's a family-friendly activity that's quick, fun and easy to do. You don't need a telescope or any equipment, just choose a clear night, wrap up warm and spend a few minutes looking at the night sky.

Your results will help us generate a map of Somerset's view of the night sky, and where light pollution is at its worst, so we can try to make things better.
