Every 3rd Saturday in the month the Repair Café will be in the Scout Hut waiting to help you repair your household and garden appliances; including a sharpening service, textiles mending, furniture, mobile phones, laptops, ceramics, lamps and any other items you need to extend the life of.

Our aim is to reduce waste, save you money, encourage community cohesion, support the local circular economy and facilitate a warm social atmosphere with our home-made cakes and fresh tea and coffee.

All we ask is a reasonable financial contribution to keep us going and make the volunteer repairers feel loved. Any excess funds are donated to local charities and good causes - do ask who we have donated to in the past 4 years. We look forward to welcoming you.
