Glastonbury Dragons Wild Hunt, Saturday 25 October 2025

Come watch Morris Dancing around the market cross before the Glastonbury Dragons along with Gwyn Ap Nudd with the Green Men of Glastonbury and led by Glastonbury Dragon Drummers and Glastonbury Dragons Herald process down Glastonbury High Street to the Market Cross where the Glastonbury Dragons will 'Battle for the Season', which dragon will win, Red or White?

The winning Glastonbury Dragon will be crowned by the Mayor of Glastonbury before the procession walks down Benedict Street and across Tor Leisure field to outside Tor Leisure Centre for a seasonal fire ceremony honouring the ancestors. Drummed by the Drummers of Avalon and led by the Glastonbury Dragons Ceremonial team.

Inside Tor Leisure Centre from 12 noon there will be a Wild Hunt Magic Market featuring hand crafted items with a Samhain/seasonal theme.

Tor Leisure Centre will be open for refreshments (please note the centre itself, not the Wild Hunt Magic Market, is card only payments)

From 3pm the Morris will dance by the Market Cross before the Glastonbury Dragons process down Glastonbury High Street at 4pm, the 'Battle of the Season takes place at 4.15pm before processing to Tor Leisure where the seasonal ceremony will take place at around 5pm.

The event is free and open to all, come dressed for the season.

The Glastonbury Dragons always need their Dragon legs on the day, if you would like to be a Dragon Leg please meet at 3.30pm at Butts Close Car Park by the Becketts Gate.
