Glastonbury Dragons Wild Hunt, Saturday 25 October 2025

Come and join in, watch Morris Dancing by the Market Cross before the Glastonbury Red and White Dragons process down Glastonbury High Street with Gwyn Ap Nudd and the Green Men of Glastonbury, drummed by Glastonbury Dragons Drummers to the Market Cross where the Glastonbury Dragons will 'battle for the season', which Dragon will win, red or white?

The winning Glastonbury Dragon will be crowned by the Mayor of Glastonbury before the procession goes down Benedict Street and across the field to outside Tor Leisure Centre, where a seasonal ceremony will take place honouring the ancestors with the Drummers of Avalon and led by the Glastonbury Dragons Ceremonial Group.

Inside Tor Leisure from 12 noon there will be a Wild Hunt Magic Market featuring hand crafted Samhain seasonal arts and crafts.

Morris dancing will take place by the Market Cross before the procession begins at the top of Glastonbury High Street at 4pm, the Glastonbury Dragons 'Battle of the Season' taking place at 4.15 and the seasonal ceremony outside Tor Leisure Centre will begin at 5pm.

The event is free and open to all, come dressed for the time of year. If you would like to be a Dragon Leg (we always need Dragon Legs on the day) meet at Butts Close Car park by the Becketts Gate at 3.30pm.
