Glastonbury Dragons Wild Hunt Event

Glastonbury Dragons Wild Hunt Event, Saturday 26 October 2024, 3pm to 6.40pm

3pm, starting at the Market Cross with Glastonbury Border Morris and Morris dancing guests.

4pm, The Glastonbury Red and White Dragons joined by Gwyn Ap Nudd and the Green Men of Glastonbury drummed by Glastonbury Dragon Drummers will process down Glastonbury High Street to the Market cross where the Glastonbury Dragons will 'battle for the season', which Dragon will win, red or white?

4.40pm, all will process down Benedict Street to Tor Leisure Field (Benedict Street side) to join in a ceremony for the season and Morris Dancing.

6.40pm, event closes.

The event is free and open to all, come dressed for the season or in your favourite Glastonbury Dragon colour, red or white.

The Glastonbury Dragons twice yearly events are run by volunteers and volunteer helpers on the day. If you would like to take part and help either through the year or on the day contact us via the Glastonbury Dragons Facebook page. All help is greatly appreciated.
