The Glastonbury Dragons May Fayre and Procession will take place on Sunday 3 May 2026. This year it's the 10th birthday/anniversary of the Glastonbury Dragons and plans are afoot to celebrate. Local bakers Burns the Bread are creating a birthday cake for the Glastonbury Dragons, it will be interesting to see just how the Glastonbury Dragons blow the candles out! This year for their 10th birthday the Glastonbury Dragons are being transformed so watch out for the newly created Glastonbury Dragons.

The event is held at three venues 1)Tor Leisure Centre hosts the Glastonbury Dragons May Fayre where you will find Dragon and May themed hand made arts and craft and birthday themed traditional games. 2) Glastonbury Market Cross and High Street where there will be performances from Morris groups and Lady Amp and the Glastonbury Dragons will process from Tor Leisure Centre up the High Street to the Fairfield on Glastonbury Tor. 3) The Fairfield on Glastonbury Tor is where the Glastonbury Dragons Seasonal Celebrations takes place. The event is free and open to all.  

With special guests the Pentacle Drummers, featuring  Glastonbury Border Morris, Boudica Rocks Morris, Lady Amp, Glastonbury Dragon Drummers, The Drummers of Avalon, Ceremonialists, Performers and of course The Glastonbury Red and White Dragons.

 Approximate timings for the day, subject to confirmation nearer the time are -

10.00 The Glastonbury Dragons May Fayre opens, The May Fayre is located at Tor Leisure,   

1.30pm / 1.45pm Start of the Glastonbury Dragons Parade including The Glastonbury Dragons 'battle of the season',

2.00pm  The Glastonbury Dragons parade up the High Street to the Fairfield on the slopes of Glastonbury Tor

2.45 approx, The Glastonbury Dragons reach the Fairfield, The Glastonbury Dragons ceremony begins on the Fairfield Blossom Circle

4.00pm Grand Finale outside Tor Leisure

5.00pm May Fayre closes
