Street Football Club has announced James Carey as the new manager of its reserve team for the upcoming 24/25 season.

Carey, who is celebrated for his deep understanding and successful history in the Somerset county league, brings a wealth of experience to the role.

Having previously assembled a team that clinched the SCFL 2nd division title, Carey is expected to harness his strategic insights to foster similar triumphs at Street FC.

With an already talented squad in place, his leadership is anticipated to elevate the team's performance from next season onwards.

The club also extends its gratitude to Tom Ball for his dedication and leadership throughout the past season. Ball, who steered the reserve team through a commendable first season at the club, will now shift his focus back to playing, continuing his football career with the Cobblers.

James Carey's appointment marks the beginning of several promising new additions to Street FC as the committee and management team lay down robust foundations to propel the club's future success in football.
