What's On in Glastonbury this weekend March 7 and 8

Saturday March 7:

Jump The Beat - Drum Circle

  1. 30am to 1pm - The Red Brick Building, Glastonbury

Join this community drum circle where people come to create music in a friendly and inclusive environment.

Witch Tripper/Sail/Doomicidal/Unburier

7pm to 11pm - The King Arthur, Glastonbury BA6 9NB

Rock Against Cancer are thrilled to announce their next installment at Glastonbury's The King Arthur. Introducing Witch Tripper from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

Local and Community History Month: History Through Postcards

10am to 11.30am - Abbey House, Glastonbury BA6 8DH

For this tea and talk Francis Thyer will be delivering a talk about some old local postcards and exploring what they can tell us about the history of our local area.

Sunday March 8:

Wu Style Tai Chi

11am to 1pm - The Red Brick Building, Glastonbury

Tai Chi's partner work practice is called Tuishao (Pushing Hands) and is a fun way to train martial techniques and principles.

Spring Tree Walk #1 - Buds and Blossom

11am to 2pm - St John's Church, Glastonbury

Join a walk into nature to explore the landscape and meet the trees. It's a beautiful time of the year to be out in nature as the buds start to emerge.

Terence Waldstadt - Sunday Sessions

8pm to 10pm - The King Arthur, Glastonbury BA6 9NB

An eargasmic stroll down the corridors of classic/alternative rock while tickling the armpits of folk and funk with an acoustic guitar.
