Here are just a few ideas of how to spend your weekend in Glastonbury.

And don't forget, if your business or organisation is running an event, you can advertise it for free with Glastonbury Nub News.

Simply follow this link to our What's On section and click the black 'Nub It' button to get started.
  1. Seedy Sunday – Glastonbury Seed Swap
It's a real celebration of seeds at the Red Brick Building on Sunday.

If you have seeds to swap, then bring them along, but if you don't have any seeds yourself that's not a problem as there will be plenty to get you started in exchange for a small donation. Learn how to save seeds, and browse stalls from local growers, producers and makers.

  1. for those quietly drowning

This weekend is your last chance to catch this powerful exhibition on display at the ZigZag building.

"for those quietly drowning" is a powerful and deeply moving re-creation of artwork made by Syrian journalist and refugee Mostafa Tellerfadi and Suzanne Partridge - combined with 800 artworks made in The Calais Jungle and across Europe from 2015 -2018. There is an artist's talk daily at 2pm and there will be music on Saturday at 1pm.
  1. Books and Cake
If books and cakes are your thing, then this reading group is one for you!
  1. Core Artist Showcase
This exhibition showcasing the work of 20 diverse artists from across Somerset closes on Monday so get down to the Heart of the Tribe Gallery before then!
  1. Glastonbury Town Deal Open Day
A community-focused open day event will be held on Friday at the Town Hall in Glastonbury, giving local residents and businesses an opportunity to find out more about the Glastonbury Town Deal projects.

Visitors to the event will be encouraged to submit their comments and suggestions on the project proposals, providing input to the Business Case process that is currently underway.

  1. Glastonbury Litter Pick

Come and join the merry bunch of litter pickers to clean the streets in town and lanes around Glastonbury. Do as much or as little as you feel. Sticks, bags, hi-vis vests and thin gloves are provided, but best to bring your own thick gloves. Meet at the Town Hall at 10am.
