As more and more events are being organised locally, Nub News is launching a new weekly round up of what's on in Glastonbury each weekend.

Every Thursday we will now bring you our top picks of the events in our What's On section for the coming weekend.

And don't forget, if your business or organisation is running an event, you can advertise it for free with Glastonbury Nub News.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1. Pattern Pusher

Pattern Pusher are coming up to Glastonbury to do a show in the King Arthur on October 22, with local band Shoto-Daito supporting.

The band has played in Glastonbury a few times before, at Glastonbury Calling fest, in the Abbey and they also won the Pilton Party competition in 2019 and got to play with Supergrass and Wolf Alice for the main event.

They say they are excited to be coming back to do their own proper headline show.

2. Katey Brooks Band

Katey Brooks is a rebellious artist that resists formula.

A devastating song-writing and singing talent that defies easy classification, with a sound blending folk, soul, blues and country.

Her harmony-inflected sound on the 2016 I Fought Lovers EP received an enthusiastic reception from radio stations around the UK and internationally, including BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and CBC Canada and her 2019 album Revolute received huge critical acclaim across the world.

3. Glastonbury Fairy Fayre and Crystal Fairy Ball

Join in the lightest, brightest party of the year, the Crystal Fairy Ball as part of the Glastonbury Fairy Fayre weekend.

It will feature music from the mighty Dolmen. There's also a fairy photo-booth, a magical bar and more fun than you can shake a fairy wand at.

Are you ready for the best party in fairyland? This is going to be one heaven of a party. Tickets for the ball are £25.
