Wells & Glastonbury YFC to host dazzling illuminated tractor run this Sunday
Get ready for a festive spectacle as Wells & Glastonbury Young Farmers Club hosts its annual Christmas Illuminated Tractor Run this Sunday, 15 December, raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The event will see a parade of brightly decorated tractors and 4x4s travelling through local villages and towns, bringing festive cheer to residents along the route.
The evening begins at Worthy Farm, where participants will meet at 5:30pm, with the parade set to depart at 6:30pm.
Spectators can enjoy the illuminated procession at the following times and locations:
- Pilton: 6:35pm
- Shepton Mallet: 6:45pm
- Croscombe: 6:55pm
- Dulcote: 7:00pm
- Wells: 7:05pm
- Coxley: 7:15pm
- Polsham: 7:20pm
- Glastonbury: 7:30pm
- West Pennard: 7:40pm
There's a prize up for grabs for the best-decorated tractor, and 4x4s are also welcome to join in the fun. Entry costs £10 per tractor or 4x4 and £5 per passenger, with all proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Food and refreshments will be available before the parade begins.
