A property on Watchwell Drove in Glastonbury was among several addresses searched on Friday 4 April as part of a wider police operation targeting suspected drug offences across Somerset.

The warrant, carried out by Avon and Somerset Police, resulted in a significant police presence, with witnesses reporting sniffer dogs and CSI teams on scene throughout the day.

Four people – two men and two women in their 30s and 40s – were arrested on suspicion of drug offences in connection with warrants executed in Glastonbury, Bridgwater and Yeovil.

During the searches, officers seized a quantity of suspected class A drugs, along with drug paraphernalia, cash, and two suspected air rifles.

One of the men was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate. He has since been released on conditional bail.

The other three individuals have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
