Watch: Stunning video of the Tor on a misty morning

By Laura Linham 13th Dec 2022

This beautiful video was created by photographer and artist Adam Burton, showing the Tor rising above the mists on a cold, winter morning.

Adam is one of the UK's leading landscape photographer who has photographed many of the world's beautiful natural areas, and it was a last-minute check of the weather forecast that bought him to Glastonbury to capture these images.

"When I first started thinking about buying a drone, it was exactly this location in these conditions that I envisaged shooting," he wrote on his Facebook page.

"Back then, drones were pretty much all about video, the still images just didn't have the quality that they do now. I remember discussing this with a friend while standing on the Tor all those years ago, and wondering how the Tor would look surrounded in mist from above.

"Although I've visited many times with the drone since, it was only yesterday that I finally realised that vision. "

As well as the video, Adam took a number of shots of the Tor shrouded in mist, which can be found on his Facebook page and website.
