Glastonbury building contractors Melhuish and Saunders are all about the local community and last year this was recognised when they won the Investing in Somerset Award at the prestigious Somerset Business Awards.
It was a huge honour for the company to be recognised for what it does within the local community.
Entries have now opened for The Somerset Business Awards 2021, and Melhuish and Saunders are encouraging local businesses to get involved and support and shout out about the wonderful local businesses in the area and the great things they do.
Somerset Business Awards had a "how to enter" webinar this week organised by Alistair Tudor from the Somerset Chamber of Commerce, and Melhuish and Saunders were honoured to be asked to take part.
As a past winner, managing director Darryl Mitchard was asked to give a talk on the company's experiences of entering and winning last year, and offer advice to those looking to enter this year.
This webinar can be viewed above. It was great for Melhuish and Saunders to be able to look back at their experience of last year and to offer advice to other business of how the process works, the benefits of entering and of becoming part of the wider, local business community.
Good luck everyone for the 2021 Somerset Business Awards. For more information, check out the Twitter accounts of Melhuish and Saunders (@mandsltd), the Somerset Business Awards (@SomBizAwards) and Somerset Chamber of Commerce (@chambersomerset).
