There was a fire in Glastonbury this morning

A vehicle was severely damaged in a fire in Glastonbury earlier this morning (May 2).

Just after 4.30am, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting a fire of an unknown origin in Glastonbury.

One fire engine from Glastonbury were quickly mobilised and on arrival, crews discovered one vehicle well alight.

Crews quickly got to work to extinguish the fie using a breathing apparatus, and a compressed air foam jet. The fire was safely extinguished and the vehicle was severely damaged.
