Vehicle fire at Catsgore Road, Somerton

Date: 25.03.2019Time: 19:16Location: Catsgore Road, SomertonDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a vehicle fire at the above location. One fire engine from Somerton was sent to this incident. Upon arrival crews confirmed one transit van to be well alight. Crews requested an additional fire engine for compressed air foam which was sent from Glastonbury Fire Station. Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one compressed air foam jet. The cause was accidental.
