Vehicle fire at Butleigh Wootton

Date: 02.07.2019Time: 14:24Location: Butleigh Wootton, StreetDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting a vehicle fire at the above location.

Fire control immediately mobilised one fire engine from Glastonbury to attend this incident.

On arrival the incident commander confirmed a fire within the engine compartment of a campervan.

The crew promptly got to work with two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and two carbon dioxide extinguishers to extinguish the fire.

This incident was an accidental ignition.
