Triumphant achievements at Crispin: GCSE and VTQ stars shine bright as students surpass expectations
Students at Crispin in Street are celebrating their achievements following the publication of GCSE and VTQ results.
Bella Reynolds achieved seven grade 9s, one grade 8 and two Grade 7s. Harry Nicholls achieved six grade 9s, a distinction and two Grade 7s and Mael De La Oliva gained five grade 9s, a starred distinction, a grade 8, a distinction and two grade 7s. In addition, Mael and Harry achieved a 9 and an 8, respectively in their Further Mathematics qualification. Joshua Morse-Jones, Mia Harmsworth, Annabel Carter, Emily Reid and Katy Govier all gained eight or more grade 7s (or the equivalent) and above.
A number of other students made outstanding progress and achieved grades well above target based on prior attainment. These included: Tegan-Marie Curry, James Woodward, Jess Francis, Ellen Stevens, Hannah Marsh, Abbie Curtis, Millie Seymour, Flynn Burrough, Willoughby Harvey, Oliver Mills, Jaxon Pickersgill, Louisa Chinnock, Darcie Gould and Amelia Walker-Corlett.
Assistant Headteacher, Helen Forward, was pleased that 'so many students had made strong progress and were now able to proceed to the next stages in their education or training'.
Headteacher, Paul Reddick said: 'As always, we are pleased to celebrate the achievements of our students. Colleagues at Crispin have worked tirelessly to support students and allow them to take the next steps in their learning. The students have been a pleasure to work with and it was a shame to see them leave.'
