Tor Rugby Club's Mexican stall is legendary at the Glastonbury Festival, and now the team will be making the food available for takeaway and collection this month.

After the success of the Glastonbury club's first pop up event in November, they will be bringing their Pop Up Mexican Food Stall to the club at Lowerside Lane on Friday and Saturday March 26 and 27, offering a Covid-secure takeaway and delivery service.

The menu is based on one they use at Glastonbury Festival and designed to maximise choice and value of quality Mexican themed food and drink.

A spokesperson for the club said: "We are particularly excited to bring you a small taste of festival experience during lockdown by offering Burrow Hill Cider from our neighbours at Glastonbury Festival, The Cider Bus, as well as Mexican carnival craft beer, Pacífico Clara, subject to lockdown sale restrictions.

"Although we are fully embracing our Mexican theme, we have tried to ensure the food is freshly prepared using local suppliers wherever possible. In addition, all our takeaway packaging will be recyclable and sustainably sourced.

"We will be open for delivery to the Glastonbury and Street area, and Covid-safe collection will be available from our stall at Tor Rugby Club.

"Details of how to order online will be published shortly. Pre-ordering is strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment."
