The Middlewick holiday resort at the base of Glastonbury Tor brought home three South West Tourism Awards this month.

Representing Somerset, against Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucester, Middlewick took home two silvers and a Bronze. They won Bronze in Dog Friendly Business of the Year, Silver in Best Cafe/Tea Room and also a Silver in Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Business.

Over 300 people went to the black tie event that was held at the University of Exeter.

The Middlewick won five awards at the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism awards back in November. From these they were put forward to the awards for the entire South West of England.

"Winning so many awards in the Somerset Awards was quite the achievement but to be able to go to the South West Awards and represent Somerset in three categories has made us extremely proud. To bring two Silvers and a Bronze award back to Glastonbury has made us very happy. Our team has worked so hard this year, these awards are a recognition of the work they put in to make The Middlewick what it is. " Jill Barker, owner, The Middlewick, Glastonbury.

The Middlewick is a Cafe, Farm Shop, Spa and Accommodation at the base of Glastonbury Tor.
