A temporary one-way road order will be in effect during The Godney Gathering 2024, impacting key routes between Wells and Glastonbury from Friday, July 19, to Sunday, July 21.

The popular festival, taking place at Garslade Farm, will enforce a one-way system on Godney Road, Wells, heading north from the junction with Common Moor Drove to the junction with Polsham Lane. Polsham Lane, Wells, will also be one-way in an easterly direction, and Crannel Lane, Wells, will be one-way in a north-easterly direction.

The temporary order will be active from 5pm on Friday, July 19, until 1am on Saturday, July 20. It will resume from 11am on Saturday, July 20, until 1am on Sunday, July 21.

A Somerset Council notice stated: "The Order will be made to facilitate The Godney Gathering and is in the interest of public safety. All closures will be signed and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary."
