Strode College students are set to showcase their original music in a highly anticipated gig on the 12th of May at the Redbrick Building in Glastonbury.

The event is in celebration of their 2023 album release, which has been available for streaming or download on all platforms since the 22nd of April.

The talented students, who study Music at Strode College in Street, have been creating and recording their original music at the college studios for the past two years. Their music spans a wide range of genres, from Contemporary Folk to Hard Rock, promising an exciting and diverse show.

Doors to the venue will open at 7 pm, with a DJ set starting at the same time. The main gig will commence at 7:30 pm, featuring performances from six talented bands. Attendees can expect to hear the unique sounds of Wet Paint, Cornflake Fuzz, Instructions Unclear, Clingfilm, Murmuration, and Requiem.

Each of these bands offers a distinct sound, ensuring an evening of varied and exciting music.

This event provides an opportunity to support and appreciate the talent of upcoming musicians from Strode College. The album release and gig are sure to be a testament to the creativity and hard work of the students involved.
