Media students from Strode College in Street have launched a radio campaign to help reduce crime in the local areas.

Working alongside Radio Ninesprings and supported by the High Sheriff of Somerset's Crimebeat Fund, the students have crafted a series of radio jingles addressing critical issues like cybercrime, stalking, and speeding.

Somerset's High Sheriff, Robert Drewett, said: "I am grateful to the media students at Strode College for all their hard work on this project.

"The radio jingles they produced are to a very high standard and contain important messages that will help to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour."

He added: "It is important that as many people as possible hear these messages and act upon them."
