Clarks Village will host the "World's Biggest Elf Skate" on 13 November with over 150 elves expected.

More than 150 elves are expected to hit the ice in Street next month as Clarks Village launches its Christmas rink with a record-breaking festive bash.

The outlet will host the "World's Biggest Elf Skate" on Thursday, 13 November from 5pm to 6.45pm — with free skating and rosettes on offer to anyone who dresses as an elf and pre-books a ticket.

The centre hopes to fill the 550 square-metre rink, located beside the Shoemakers Museum, with hundreds of skating elves during the main world record attempt window between 6pm and 6.30pm.

All elf-skating participants will receive a special rosette, with on-the-spot certificates for the best festive outfits. The launch will also feature Santa and his head elf, flying in from the North Pole to welcome guests and kick off the season.

Ice rink details

  • The real-ice rink opens to the public from Monday, 11 November to Saturday, 4 January (closed Christmas Day)
  • Entry is via the restaurant terrace at Clarks Village
  • Tickets start from £13.50 for children, £15.50 for adults, and £50 for families
  • A 20% early bird discount is available until midnight on Sunday, 10 November

Last year's launch featured the "World's Biggest Santa Skate" and saw scores of skaters in red suits take to the ice. This year's elf-themed record attempt promises even more festive fun.

Chris Davis, Centre Director at Clarks Village, said: "The World's Biggest Elf Skate is set to be a magical, memorable family-friendly celebration bursting with festive fun. We can't wait to see so many guests – or elves – gliding into Christmas."

Tickets for the elf event and general sessions must be booked in advance via the Clarks Village website.
