The Street Household Recycling Centre, located on Farm Lane, Street, Somerset, is open throughout the week to help residents recycle and dispose of waste responsibly. Here's everything you need to know about its current opening hours and services.

Autumn/Winter opening hours (until 31 March 2025):

  • Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: Closed
  • Friday: Closed
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The centre is closed on public holidays.

Materials accepted:

The Street Recycling Centre accepts a wide range of materials, including:

  • General household waste
  • Garden waste
  • Electrical items
  • Scrap metal
  • Plastics and cardboard
