Street's Halloween night is getting hijacked by sea shanties as Half A Shanty bring their pirate-themed winter ball to The Loft on Saturday, 31 October 2026.

This is Halloween with the usual cobwebs kicked aside and replaced by shanty choruses, pirate fancy dress and the kind of room-wide noise that does not politely stay in the background. Half A Shanty will lead the night, bringing sea shanties and communal tunes to a venue that is leaning fully into the swashbuckling brief.

Food will be part of the evening too, with service running from 5 pm to 7 pm before the main event gets going. There is no need to book for food, which will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fancy dress is encouraged, and the theme is not exactly shy about what it wants: pirates, big energy and a crowd ready to sing. The event is open to all, with booking available through the QR code on the event artwork.
