Councillor Knickbocker takes over the role from outgoing chair Laura Wolfers, who said: "It has been an absolute honour and an amazing experience to have had the role for two years serving Street as Chair of the Parish Council.

"Thank you to my partner Luke who has been my consort and has wholeheartedly supported me. The council has worked very hard over the last two years and now that Somerset are a unitary council we are working on our priorities for the next four years.
