Street Parish Council invites residents to design a new logo for the town's Thursday market.

Got an eye for design and a love for your local market? Street Parish Council is calling on residents to help rebrand the town's weekly Thursday market - with a new logo and a £50 prize up for grabs.

The competition is open now, and the council says the winning design will be used on all promotional material and marketing going forward.

Whether you're a professional designer or just a creative resident with a sketchbook, the council wants to see your ideas.

Entries can be created in any medium—digital, hand-drawn or even painted—and must be submitted by noon on Friday 1 August.

Designs should be sent to [email protected] and the winning entry will not only scoop a £50 prize but help shape the future look of Street Market itself.

A spokesperson for the council said the new logo is part of a wider push to boost the market's identity and encourage more shoppers to support local traders.

For more information, locals are encouraged to call the parish office on 01458 440588.
