Street's much‑loved Festive Market returns on Saturday 6 December — promising a packed day of shopping, entertainment and community spirit in the heart of the village.
Running from 11 am to 4 pm across High Street, Farm Road and at Crispin Hall (BA16 0EZ), the annual event will see local traders, food stalls and community groups bring festive sparkle to Street, Somerset.
There'll be everything from handmade gifts and stocking‑fillers to seasonal treats and music. Street Parish Council will also be on hand outside Crispin Hall, alongside Youth Cadet Eva Dowden, who'll be encouraging younger locals to have their say in the parish's future through her Youth Survey.
The event follows Small Business Saturday and organisers say it's a brilliant way to support local shops while soaking up the Christmas atmosphere.
Anyone interested in running a stall should email acce@street‑pc.gov.uk. Spaces are limited and offered first‑come, first‑served.
