By Laura Linham 19th Jun 2026
House prices in Street and Glastonbury both fell in the 12 months to April 2026, according to Land Registry figures reported in the latest Somerset property data. Homes in BA16 Street sold for an average of £283,933.80, while homes in BA6 Glastonbury sold for an average of £315,858.60.
The BA16 figure was down from £290,184.70 the year before, an annual fall of 2.15%. In BA6, the average price dropped from £336,246.20, giving Glastonbury an annual fall of 6.06%.
The figures cover completed sales in the 12 months to the end of April 2026 and are based on Land Registry data. They show Street remained cheaper on average than Glastonbury, with the BA16 average £31,924.80 below BA6.
Nearby, BA4 Shepton Mallet also recorded a fall, with average prices down 7.92% to £326,543.80. BA5 Wells went the other way, with prices up 4.33% to an average of £384,235.50.
The Street figure means the average BA16 sale price was £6,250.90 lower than the previous year. In Glastonbury, the average BA6 sale price was £20,387.60 lower.
The data does not explain why prices changed, and average sale prices can be affected by the type, size and number of homes sold during the period. The figures give a snapshot of completed sales rather than a prediction of where the market may go next.
