Welcomers wanted for St John's Church in Glastonbury

St John's Church in Glastonbury has a team of volunteers, called Welcomers, who enable the building to be open to the community and visitors to our town, many of whom come from around the world, every day of the week.

The church would like to invite anyone from the community to join the Welcoming Team. There is no need for a church background, they are looking for people who would like to welcome and share the beautiful building with anyone who steps over the threshold.

Welcomers work on a monthly rota basis, there are no expected hours, and most Welcomers commit to two or three hours a week - some more, some less.

If you enjoy meeting new and interesting people and think you would like more information, you can contact Jenny Randall, leader of the St John's Welcoming Team, at [email protected].
