Staff at St Dunstan's in Glastonbury have been carrying out in-school Covid testing since January for teachers and since March 8 for students.

In-school testing has come to an end and the testing centre will return to being the drama studio next week.

Students have been given testing kits to take home and these home tests should be completed every Sunday and Wednesday.

A school spokesperson said: "A huge thank you to all our students for being so courteous and mature about taking the tests.

"Well done to the testing team who set it all up and had it running like clockwork. It was a mammoth undertaking to get the training complete, the test centre set up and all the paperwork organised in a very short space of time.

"A special thank you to Mr Oakwood who was in charge of organising everything."
