In response to multiple community concerns regarding the disregard for speed limits along Coursing Batch, the Glastonbury Neighbourhood Team has sprung into action.

The team conducted a robust speed enforcement operation at the location to address the rising incidents of speeding and ensure public safety.

The Glastonbury Neighbourhood Team is reminding drivers that the 20mph speed limit is not only applicable to Coursing Batch but extends throughout the town centre.

The lower speed limit is in place to safeguard the community, particularly in high pedestrian traffic areas.

A police spokesman said: "We take community concerns very seriously and will always respond to ensure the safety of our town's residents and visitors.

"This speed enforcement action is a reminder that we won't tolerate speeding within our community. The 20mph limit is not merely a suggestion, but a law designed to protect everyone. We urge motorists to always adhere to these limits and drive responsibly."
