Somerton man charged with murder and drug possession after body found in Kenilworth

A 43-year-old Somerset man has been charged with murder and possession of class A drugs following the discovery of a body in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

Stuart Baker, of Etsome Terrace, Somerton, is accused of killing James Bosworth, 21, whose body was found at a property near Rouncil Lane on 20 December.

Warwickshire Police said officers were called to the scene at 6.07pm, where Mr Bosworth, from Nottingham, was discovered with multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Baker was arrested shortly after, at 6.30pm, and charged with both murder and drug possession. He is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court for his first hearing on 23 December.

Police have appealed for witnesses who may have had contact with either the victim or the suspect around the time of the incident.
