Somerset Sight is looking for help in Glastonbury

Somerset Sight is a registered charity providing services for people with sight loss across the county.

One of the services the charity has been offering for the last 21 years is a Volunteer Visiting Service which supports people with sight loss through the regular company of a local volunteer visitor.

The charity has a number of elderly people in the Glastonbury area who have sight loss and would very much like the company of a friendly volunteer visitor.

If you enjoy one to one company and have a couple of hours a fortnight to spare and would like to volunteer for the charity, contact Claire Packwood, the volunteer co-ordinator, on 01643 842972 or email [email protected].

All volunteers are well supported by the charity and all reasonable expenses are paid.
