Santa Claus is out and about in Street and Glastonbury - and here's how you can find out when he's coming to you

By Laura Linham 12th Dec 2022

Christmas is so close you can taste it in the air. Anything and everything is getting mulled, the Holy Thorn is about to get snipped, the kids are bouncing off the walls and the nights are cold and frosty.

So, obviously, Santa is warming up his sleigh and is getting ready to come to Street and Glastonbury - with a little help from King William Carnival Club.

The club has been helping Father Christmas on his rounds, ensuring he sees as many people as possible before the big day.

It's important to note that even the best-laid plans can go awry and Santa's schedule may be forced to change from time to time, depending on how busy the big man gets, and that sometimes even Santa has bad weather to contend with.

He'll be starting his visits at 6pm each night, with he carnival club announcing which areas he'll be visiting here, with the information released each morning.

A spokesperson for King William Carnival Club said: "We will not be knocking doors this year, but we will be next to Father Christmas with our buckets for donations, so please give if you can."
