The River Brue is likely to flood again in Glastonbury after this weekend's rain forecast.

With Storm Dennis due to hit the town on Saturday afternoon and Sunday (February 15 and 16) residents in the vicinity of the river are being warned that it might break its banks.

An Environment Agency spokesperson said: "Our gangs are out checking bridges, culverts and debris screens for blockages and other problems.

"With Storm Dennis due to arrive on Saturday, our incident response staff are monitoring the developing situation closely. Please stay aware in case further warnings are issued."
