Residents in Street and Walton are being reminded to stay vigilant against cold callers as part of Operation Fox, a local police initiative aimed at tackling uninvited doorstep callers.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that both areas remain active in the operation and are urging locals to report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 101.

Acting quickly provides officers with the best chance to respond and investigate the cold callers in the area.

A police spokesperson said: "Our advice is to always ask for identification and never share personal details with unexpected visitors.

"If someone arrives unannounced and raises concerns, please contact us straight away so we can check it out."

Residents with concerns should contact the police via 101 at the time of the call or visit the Avon and Somerset Police website for further advice on doorstep safety.
