Mendips and Frome Neighbourhood Policing Team officers have conducted a drug search warrant in Glastonbury, resulting in the seizure of class A and B drugs.

The operation, which took place on 1 November 2023 on Porchestall Drove, forms part of the force's ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crime in the region.

The investigation is ongoing as officers continue to examine the substances recovered and assess the impact of this seizure on local drug activity.

A spokesperson for the police stated, "We are committed to disrupting the supply of illegal drugs in our communities. The successful execution of the warrant in Glastonbury is a testament to the hard work of our officers who are dedicated to keeping the streets safe."

The police encourage anyone with information about drug dealing to come forward, advising the public to call 999 if they observe such activities in progress, or to provide information via the police website or by calling 101 for non-emergencies.
