Police appeal for information following burglaries around Butleigh

Police are investigating a series of overnight burglaries in the villages of Butleigh and Barton St. David between Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 November.

Various personal items including handbags and jewellery were stolen in burglaries that took place on Mill Road in Barton St David, and Chapel Lane in Butleigh between the hours of 2.15am and 5.00am. An attempted burglary also took place at High Street, Butleigh.

Police believe the offender(s) may have been using a dark coloured hatchback vehicle to drive around.
