Police appeal after Glastonbury pub burglary

Police are appealing for information after a burglary at the King Arthur pub in Glastonbury, which was broken into early on Tuesday, 28 January.

The incident took place between 8:45am and 9am, when a male suspect was caught on CCTV forcing entry into the pub on Benedict Street, which was closed at the time. Footage released by the pub shows the suspect wearing a coat with a fluffy neck and carrying an Under Armour bag.

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that house-to-house checks are underway and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

"We are investigating a burglary at a pub in Glastonbury on Tuesday morning (28 January). We believe a male suspect forced entry to the premises on Benedict Street between 8:45am and 9am. Officers have attended the scene, and inquiries are ongoing, including reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out house-to-house checks. We urge anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at that time, or who has any information, to contact us."
