Plans submitted to convert office near Baltonsborough into holiday let

A planning application has been submitted to Mendip District Council for an office near Baltonsborough to be converted into a holiday let.

The application for material change of use from office (B1a) to holiday let (C3) at Ash View Farm, Southwood Lane, near Baltonsborough, has been submitted by Mr C Reeves.

The building is situated in between the hamlets of Catsham and Southwood, and it is currently used by Tor Drilling as an office, but they are relocating to new premises in Glastonbury.

Other planning applications submitted in the Glastonbury area this week and planning decisions made by Mendip District Council include:

Plans to enlarge the existing rear vehicular entrance and install new hardwood gate, replace Tarmac parking surface with blue lias flagstones at Easter Cottage, 5 Church Lane, Glastonbury, have been submitted by Mr Anderson.

A loft extension has been applied for at 21 Hill Head Close, Glastonbury.

The installation of an underground reservoir and pipeline at Worthy Farm, Worthy Lane, Pilton, by Glastonbury Festival Events Ltd has been approved.
