Newton Faulkner is set to headline the Night at the Abbey this year, stepping in for Neville Staple who had to withdraw due to health concerns.

Known for his guitar skills and dynamic stage presence, Faulkner will bring his musical talents to the historic venue on Saturday, 24th August 2024.

Launching his career in 2007 with the chart-topping debut album "Hand Built By Robots," Faulkner has enjoyed a successful 16-year journey in the music industry.

The festival will showcase an eclectic mix of genres across three stages – from acoustic folk and jazz to alternative rock, electro swing, and R&B – ensuring there's something for every music lover. Notable acts include The Mighty Rooster, Milly Riquelme & La Cubana, Electric Swing Circus, and Dr Meaker on the Main Stage, alongside other talented artists across the King Arthur Stage and The Chapel.

Gates are set to open at 3pm, with performances kicking off at 4pm.

Attendees can look forward to a range of catering stalls and a fully stocked bar, making for a perfect day out in the stunning surroundings of Glastonbury Abbey.

Night at the Abbey is not just a local favourite but has also been recognised on a larger scale, having attracted over 3,000 attendees in past years and winning the Silver award for Tourism Event of the Year at the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards in 2021. The 2023 event further cemented its reputation by being shortlisted for an award at the National Outdoor Events Association awards.

Tickets are now available online with an early bird discount, priced at £20 for adults and £15 for children, with under 5s attending for free. Glastonbury Abbey Member PLUS cardholders can enjoy free entry, subject to pre-booking. For those preferring to purchase physical tickets, these will be available at Glastonbury Abbey soon, at £25 for adults and £20 for children.
