There is a new addition to the Glastonbury Mural Trail.

The side of Draper of Glastonbury on Chilkwell Street has been transformed with three new murals on the outside of the building.

The art work was facilitated by artist Kim von Coels, manager of the Heart of the Tribe gallery in Glastonbury, who was a driving force behind the creation of the mural trail back in 2019.

While most of the buildings on the trail feature the work of one artist, the Draper factory has three murals alongside each other – each very different.

Kim said, "I think this one is out biggest so far. We split it into three as the space was just too big for one person."

The first of the three pieces was done by Kapo_746 (aka Robb) from London, the middle piece of art was created by Millie Gleeson from Somerset, and the third by duo Marta Zubieta and Diton, both originally from Spain but now based in Bristol.

Owner of Draper of Glastonbury, Nick Draper, said, "The three murals are all quite different, so they appeal to different people, which I think is really good.

" I have had nothing but positive comments about the murals so far!"

The creation of the mural was captured on film by Glastonbury Gabriel

The Glastonbury Mural Trail is an ever-evolving collection of more than 50 art works that adorn walls in all areas of the town, painted by local, national and international artists.

Kim said, ""The Mural Trail is a very rewarding project to work on. I really enjoy having the opportunity to enable such fabulous art all over our town. Although it can be quite hard work at times, the positive feedback I get from the community makes it all worth it."
