Mobile speed camera locations in Mendip this week

Mobile speed cameras will be out in force across Mendip this week as the police continue to clamp down on dangerous driving in an effort to improve road safety.

Mobile cameras will be set up in locations around the county, monitoring motorists' speeds and catching those who exceed the limit.

Drivers caught breaking the speed limit run the risk of a fine, penalty points or having to attend a speed awareness course - serious violations could see them in court. Speeding is one of the fatal four driving dangers, the others are mobile phone use, not wearing a seatbelt and drink and drug driving.

Here are the planned mobile speed camera locations across Mendip, as published by Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
